Monthly Meetings

Bridgend Astronomical Society hold monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of each month. We usually have a speaker and have covered a diverse range of subjects over the years – the latest programme can be found below. The main speaker is followed by an education and an observation slot.  Meetings are informal and refreshments are available from the Club bar.

These regular meetings are for BAS members – non-members can attend their first meeting for free, and there are some ‘public’ events open to all held during the year.

Meetings are held at the Bridgend Tennis, Squash and Bowls Club (detail can be found here) with ample parking at Bridgend Recreation Centre
